Debt Countdown is a personal tracking and guidance tool. Every figure it shows (end dates, interest, savings, the plan) is an estimate worked out from what you enter. Nothing in the app is financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to make, change or skip any payment. Before a big decision, such as a large overpayment or switching loans, talk to your lender or a qualified adviser.
Lenders work interest out daily, add fees and change rates; the app works monthly on the figures you type in, and figures marked EST are guesses until you replace them. Errors in what is entered, and errors in the calculations themselves, can and do arise. Check every number against your statements and with your lender before you act on it. Your lender's figures are the ones that count.
You use Debt Countdown at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bramble Apps accepts no liability for any decision made, action taken, payment missed or loss arising from the use of the app or its figures. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law does not allow to be limited.
Your loans, payments and notes belong to you. Keep a backup: the iCloud backup and the export in Settings exist for exactly that.
Debt Countdown is free with one loan and every feature. Debt Countdown Pro is a single payment that removes the one-loan limit for good. It never renews and there is no subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard terms. On a new phone, restore it from Settings with the same Apple ID.
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, including any warranty that its figures are accurate or complete. We may update these terms; changes appear on this page with a new date at the top.
